Patagonia partnered with Columbia College Chicago to present a Workwear Upcycling Exhibition showcasing innovative, sustainable fashion and circular design. Within the Sustainable Fashion Practice course, interdisciplinary teams—combining merchandisers and product developers—collaborated to create complete two-piece upcycled looks. These designs were entered into a global vote open to students, Patagonia teams, and Patagonia fans worldwide. I contributed to the production side by assisting with design development and pattern cutting, which is an experience that strengthened my hands-on understanding of product development and circular design. After a week of voting, Group 7—my team—earned the highest number of votes, securing the title of 2026 Patagonia Workwear Exhibition Winner.
